The Ceremony of the 2017 Imaginative Justice Award wil be held in the Glass Court of the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts on November 9th from 5:00 pm.
We have the great honor to have Frederick William Headon*, CIC.C, Ad. E., Assistant General Counsel, Labor and Employment Law, at Air Canada.
During the ceremony, a 5@9 cocktail will be offered with the collaboration of the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts.

During the evening, we will be pleased to have the students of the Music School of the Université de Montréal performing for us.
The ceremony will start with a speech by Ms. Marie-Claude Rigaud,, Vice-Dean External Affairs and Communications of the Faculty of Law of the Université de Montréal and M. Karim Benyekhlef, Chairman of the LexUM Chair and Director of the Cyberjustice Laboratory and our keynote speaker, Me Frederick William Headon.

Mr. Frederick Headon is chair of the CBA Legal Futures Initiative. Mr. Headon, Assistant General Counsel, Labour and Employment Law, at Montreal-based Air Canada, is the first in-house counsel elected to serve as President of the Canadian Bar Association, a position he will assume beginning in August 2013. From 2007 to 2012, Mr. Headon served on the Canadian Corporate Counsel Association's (CCCA) Board of Directors and has been a frequent speaker at CBA, CCCA and other events.
Prior to joining Air Canada, Mr. Headon worked in private practice in Montreal in the fields of labour, employment, human rights, privacy, and administrative law, as well as civil litigation. He also taught Social Law and Administrative Law at the Law Faculty of the National University of Rwanda. In addition to representing clients before a number of administrative tribunals, Mr. Headon has appeared before the Superior Court of Québec, the Federal Court, the Québec and Federal Courts of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Canada.
